*Le Sigh* School starts in a week, and for me, that means an over abundance of three things: Stress, migraines, and sore feet.
A friend of mine sent me a text last night, just as I had begun to find sleep. It read, 'Hey, school starts soon, ticking off the days'. Of course, after reading that, I couldn't sleep for a while. I had to run down the mental list of school supplies and make sure that I was prepared for the looming school term. Then, after second guessing myself a few time, I finally pulled my weary body out of bed to check the continence of my school bag.
Good news. I'm prepared.
Bad news? my friend is officially a meany weeny.
He knew what he was doing too. I know that he knew what he was doing. I know because I used my ninja mind reading powers. *insert cartoon sound effects*
Or, it could have something to do with the 'TeeHee' text he sent me right afterward.
The good news doesn't stop there though. *Le Gasp* I have a locker that I can actually use this year(I think). I'll, hopefully, be able to stop at it on my way to class in the mornings, and when I'm leaving school in the evenings. It's strategically placed for that purpose.
Why am I so happy about this? Well, you see, last year I had to carry whatever I might need around with me all day. My locker was so out-of-the way, I could never use it and get to my classes on time. I'll probably have back problems when I get older.

Lets continue with the good news shall we?
Now, a few days ago, I typed up an entry, but I never did post it. Here is part of that entry.
"It is simply amazing how much
anxiety can come from one book that is being forced upon you.
I’m thinking about renting the audio version so I can work with my hands while my mind is
being tortured with tails about an uncouth little boy with no manners. At
least then I’d be getting two things done at once. What bothers me though is
that I’m desperate enough to consider the sound recording,
because I dislike recorded books immensely. They get on my nerves because the reader’s voice is always a mellow drone that my mind wants to repel for some odd reason."
If you have no idea what the above text is about, I shall summarize. I was assigned to read The adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain this summer, and the story made me want to rip my hair out.
Well, at registration the other day, I received my class schedule, and found out that I don't have English until second semester. That means that my teacher will either forget about the whole things, or take pity on my class because it will have been such a long time since we read it.
Or, she'll make us read it in class.
Either option is fine to me, because I will be one of the three people in my class who actually read the book like they where supposed to.

I have a game to recommend, by the way.
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/541124
It is called Coma, and it is about this little boy who is searching for his sister in his Father's secret basement. The game is simple, you use the left and right arrow keys to move, and press up to jump. You do not fight any thing, and the clues are easy to figure out, but it's soothing to play, with it's artwork and score. Especially if, like me, you are a fan of cute surrealism.
