On a day like today in algebra class, my mind wonders because I have been reading all morning. So while I'm not paying attention to the math lesson that I will never use. I daydream.
However, today, I have a splitting headache, and I want to sleep, to nap, to shut my brain down and let the pillows take over.
But, alas, in algebra I write my notes, for I must if I ever wish to leave high school.
My mom is have surgery tomorrow, so I'm staying out of school to be with her at the hospital.
I don't know what it is about hospitals, but I always get this unclean feeling from them. It's not like I dislike them or anything, but when you're surrounded by coughing people who don't cover their noses when they sneeze, it's hard not to be a tad paranoid.
It may just be me though, because I'm told that it's not normal to wipe your desk off before you sit down.
I re-read Beastly by Alex Flinn yesterday, and Tithe by Holly Black today. My friend named Cameron likes to read the back of the covers in a deep narrator voice, and every time, I tell him that she should grow up and be a reader for audio books.
About a week ago, I was reading Sin Undone by Larissa Ione, and he started to read the back, but he threw it down on my desk and fussed about vampires and werewolves for a while.
Now for an example of my nerdyness.
Friday, MGM had it's homecoming pep rally, and because my chemistry teacher is to preoccupied with her cheer leaders to teach us, she took my class out to the bleachers while they ran through things. Now, I was sitting with my buddies, and we made a group decision to sneak off to the library before it started. So, as students began poring into the bleachers, we removed ourselves from them.
Then, when we go to the library, two more of my buddies popped up out of nowhere, and we parted in the library.
and by "parted" I mean sat around one of the tables discussing various topics.
It was fun.
